Our maximum occupancy is 200

What’s the maximum occupancy?

Our mountain weather is very unpredictable. Without an insulated barn, we are unable to keep it heated properly. For this reason, our season is from mid-May to mid-October

When is your season?

Yes! We have propane heaters on standby in case the evenings get too cold

For those cold nights, do you have heaters just in case?

The latest we can run is midnight

How late can the party go?

We do not- you will be responsible for finding your caterer. We have a great list of preferred vendors. Reach out, and we’ll be happy to send it over!

Does Log River Ranch provide catering?

You bring in your own alcohol, however we are required to serve it. We charge an alcohol fee that covers 1 bartender. If your group size is larger than 75, we require a second bartender at an hourly fee. We prefer beer, wine, and batch cocktails but are able to offer a full-service bar. To ensure our level of service, we require an additional bartender when booking a full-service bar.

This alcohol fee also includes 2 scheduled trips from Chama and back at the end of the night in our 14-passenger van. Our primary reason for purchasing this van is for those who attend the wedding, drink more than they planned, and need a safe ride back to Chama. Additional scheduled pickup times are available for an additional rate.

What do we do for alcohol?

What’s provided?

Yes! The cabin is available to rent year-round, even if you don’t have an event with us.

Can we rent the cabin without having a wedding?

The cabin can seep 10 people comfortably, but can sleep up to 14. The sleeping arrangement are as followed:
  • Master: King Bed
  • Bedroom 1: Queen Bed
  • Bedroom 2: Two Full Beds and bunk bed in large closet
  • Bedroom 3: King Bed and Sofa Sleeper

How many can sleep in the cabin?

This is set up as a standard vacation rental- so all pots, pans and basic necessities are included (oils, coffee, coffee maker, appliances, etc.). All towels, sheets and room needs are provided as well!

What will we find in the cabin?

Yes! Our barn extension space is our backup ceremony option

Is there a backup ceremony site if the weather is not favorable?

Our only ceremony sites that have power easily accessible are our river site and barn extension site. The Cottonwoods and Pasture site will need either lots of extension cords or a generator.

Do the ceremony sites have access to power?

No, when you rent the property- it’s yours! You may see our staff and family running around or staying in the cabin (if you choose not to rent the cabin), but no other guest.

Will there be another group on the property during our stay?

Yes! The Rio Chama is a great river to fish. We ask catch and release and, of course, a New Mexico fishing license.

Can we fish on the property?
