The Night Before

The night before your wedding, don’t be tempted to celebrate too hard and have too much alcohol. You don’t want to be light headed with a hangover on your big day. Alcohol can cause dehydration, unwanted redness and inflammation of your skin. We don’t recommend doing any drastic facials or scrubs that your skin isn’t used to. Instead, we suggest a gentle hydrating sheet mask to pamper yourself.

Check in with your hairstylist to see if they prefer for you to wash your hair the evening before or the morning of the wedding. Many require washed and fully dried hair the morning of.

Before heading to bed, spend a few minutes writing your fiance a heartfelt letter. Let your soon-to-be know how happy you are to be embarking on this new journey together, why they are so special to you, or what your dreams are for your new life together.

Most importantly, get your beauty sleep.

The Day of the Wedding

Good morning, beautiful! The day you’ve been dreaming of is finally here.  With all of those butterflies fluttering around, you may not think that you feel hungry, but it is important to have a little breakfast to start off your day and to give you some much needed energy. It’s going to be a long day full of celebration and you will need a healthy breakfast to keep you feeling your best throughout the day. Log River Ranch is now offering coffee and pastries for the morning of! Contact Karlee for more information and pricing.

Prep

Prep your hair and skin with the guidance given to you by your hair and makeup artists. You may want to use a cool jade roller to help depuff,  eyepatches to hydrate under your eyes and make sure to moisturize your lips.

Play

Play some of your favorite music with your girls as you get your hair and makeup done. Maybe have a champagne toast with your team. You’ve worked hard to get here.  Your photographer might be getting some fun shots of you getting ready, some detailed shots of your dress and of course, the “first look” with your groom.

Relax

Relax and enjoy your very special day! Log River Ranch and your wedding planner or “day of” coordinator is taking care of every final detail behind the scenes so you can focus on you.
